Full Description

Saturday morning yoga will currently be held in the field at JMRC at 9am. Participants should bring their own mat and water. Please space your mat at least 6 ft apart from other participants. Up to 10 participants may register for each class and a wait list will be available if there are cancellations.  Please subscribe to the yoga calendar to receive notifications in the event that class is cancelled due to weather conditions. 

Virginia Run Yoga  is a class taught by Leslie McCrea, a community member who received
 her 200-hour RYT training in Power Yoga in April 2019 from Core Power Yoga in Fairfax, VA. The class  is designed to energize while helping you build strength and flexibility. Vinyasa style yoga links breath and movement, and will keep you present as you learn to move more gracefully in and out of poses. We will focus on releasing and rejuvenating your muscles and your mind. We will relax into stretches and revive your tired mind and body.  By flowing through the poses and stretches on your mat, this energetic and rejuvenating practice will help you carry the ability to 'flow' over to the many obstacles of life. 

This class is suitable for all levels.  Modifications are offered and blocks and straps are available to help modify poses.   Bring your own mat and water.  A few extra mats are available if needed.
