Riptide Registration

PRACTICE STARTS IN ONE MONTH!!  MAY 29th!!  Are you ready!!?  Hello Riptide Swimmers and Families.  The start to our 2007 Summer Season is just one month away!   PLEASE REGISTER NOW if you have not already done so.  Practice will start Tuesday, May 29th after school.  Please check the website= www.variptide.com  for  practice times of your specific age group. REGISTRATION DATES & RATES:   Sat. April 28th & Sunday May 6th  1:00-4:00p.m.                                                                    Virginia Run Club House                                                                     $95.00 for the first swimmer in each family                                                                     $85.00 fir each subsequent swimmer in each familyWhat to bring to Registration: 

  • Please access the website to download the registration and health forms.  Print the forms and fill them out.  Bring them with you to registration.  If you cannot access these forms online, there will be extra forms available at registration.  Please make sure to bring your medical information in order to complete the forms on site.

 

  • Check book.  You will need to write at least two checks.  One check is to “Virginia Run

Riptide” to register your swimmer.  The other check is to the clothing vendor for the newSwim team suit and other clothing. 

  • Calendar or PDA device to record your four volunteer slots (parental volunteer commitment).

  If you cannot attend one of the two registration dates.  There will be a “Late Registration”  Tuesday, May 29th  held  after the first swim practice in the community center.  There will be a $10.00 late fee.    ALL SWIMMERS MUST BE FULLY  REGISTERED TO PARTICIPATE ON THE TEAM.ALL SWIMMERS MUST BE ABLE TO COMPLETE ONE LENGTH OF THE POOL UNASSISTED TO BE ON THE TEAM.  We encourage you to try!  We will refund your money if it does not work out this year! MARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR “BACK TO SWIM NIGHT!”Thursday, May 24th 7:00p.m.-8:30p.m. at the Virginia Run Elementry CafeteriaCome and meet the coaches and learn about the Virginia Run Riptide Swim Team!  If you are a new family to the team, this is a great opportunity to get all of your questions answered.                                                                                                                                                  MAY RIPTIDE BIRTHDAYS                                               May 1st          Austin   Figueroa       =    12 years old!                                                                     Christopher Kearney=   16 years old!                                              May 13th        Joey Esposito              =   13 years old!                                              May 15th        Kate Eckert                 =   11 years old!                                              May 16th        C.
