Community Awareness Meeting

HELP STOP THE SPEEDING IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD!

A Community Awareness Meeting will be held on Monday, June 14th at 7PM. Please try to attend this informational meeting at the VR Community Center, to discuss and ask questions, regarding the Virginia Run Traffic Calming Study (Eagle Tavern Lane, Stillfield, Wetherburn, Hidden Canyon, Trillium House and Meherrin). These streets have been the concern of many residents with regards to residential/commercial vehicles speeding. Task forces have been formed to communicate to Mike Frey and Fairfax County Department of Transportation (FCDOT), alternatives to making the streets safe for our children, pets, and pedestrians. Mike Coyle from Supervisor Mike Frey's office and Guy Mullinax with FCDOT will be in attendance.
