Turkey Trot

20th Annual Turkey Trot  We are in the final stages of preparation for the race. If you are interested in helping please attend our packet stuffing Saturday, November 22nd at 9AM. We welcome all comers. The Committee is moving toward handling the biggest Turkey Trot ever.  This year we will accept over 2200 runners, and as many walkers who register before 8:00AM Thanksgiving morning.  You can register by mail or via the Internet at   www.runwashington.com  until Monday, November 24th.  Also, this Horn has the forms and they can be delivered to the VA Run Community Center.  Walk up registration is Tuesday, November 25th 6:00 to 8:30 PM and Wednesday 26th 2:00 to 8:00 PM.  You can not register Thanksgiving morning, for the Run.  Shirt and number pick-up is during the times for walk up registration and Thanksgiving morning before the race.  The race is Thanksgiving morning November 27th at 8:00 AM, with the walk at 8:10 AM. All race proceeds go to Life with Cancer. Life with Cancer programs are all FREE to anyone affected by cancer or their families, and that is why we continue to raise money for them.  This is a morning of thankful remembrances with an exhilarating race and walk. The fun of volunteering can be yours if you are there. The Committee needs more people to help with the mass of visitors to our community.  Hope to see you there.   Help make it happen.
