Thank you so much for your past support by registering your Giant Bonus card with Virginia Run Elementary School! Giant Food donated over $6,000 to the school last year. The donation comes from a percentage of the money spent by each customer who registers their bonus card. VRES depends on this money from Giant as revenue for buying and upgrading technology and funding for other programs. With all the budget cuts and short falls this year in the county’s education system, the extra money will be useful.
Even if you do not currently have children at VRES, you can still help! Whether or not you are a regular shopper at Giant, you should still consider registering your card. A loaf of bread or a gallon of milk here and there can add up! It is “easy money” for the school! You do not have to shop at the Centreville Giants to make your bonus card purchases count for our school. For example, relatives or friends who live in Fredericksburg, Virginia or even Bethesda, Maryland that shop at their local Giants can also register on behalf of our school! Spread the word!
We have kicked-off another school year! It is Giant’s practice to begin each school year with a fresh start. Therefore, they delete the previous year’s registered bonus card numbers. So, if you have registered in the past, you must re-register for the 2006/7 school year. It is very simple to do. You can register directly on-line www.giantfood.com, or register at Giant the next time you are there! If you have lost your bonus card and use your phone number in the store, then call 1-877-366-2668 and you can register over the phone. Virginia Run Elementary’s code is 01856. That is all you need to know!
TARGET
Do you have a Target Visa or a Target Red Card credit card? Did you know that Target donates 1% of dollars spent back to schools? In order for Virginia Run Elementary to take advantage of this donation the school has to be designated by you, the card holder. It is a simple process and can be done online. Go to www.Target.com. At the very top of the page next to the shopping cart, click on “Red Cards”. Next, under the “Benefits” section on the left click on “Take Charge of Education”. Next, on the right hand side of the page click on “Enroll Now”. From here you may either enter in Virginia Run Elementary School, Centreville, Virginia or simply type in our school code of 103769. Follow the instructions from there and VRES is on its way to earning money for technology and other important programs!
